When their partner company, Snap Interactive, decided to make the change from AYI.com to FirstMet.com, they still stayed true to the main goal and mission of their original dating site: making it easy for people to connect through mutual friends and interests. New users are asked to pick at least three interests from a selection of images, so the website can match you with other members based on your shared hobbies and passions. Once you are presented with your matches, you get to choose “Yes” or “Skip.”
Users can also exercise more control over the matching process if they choose, by conducting searches for potential matches by age, ethnicity, marital status, education, income, and more.
